Types of television programs
Television Program
Television program consists of three types: game show, reality show, and talk show. Game show is a type of television program in which members of the public, television personalities or celebrities, sometimes as part of a team, play a game which involves answering questions or solving puzzles usually for money or prizes. Family 100 and Deal or No Deal are the examples of game show. Reality show is a genre of television programming that presents purpotedly unscripted dramatic or humorous situations, documents actual events, and usually features ordinary people instead of professional actors, sometimes in a contest or other situation where a prize is a awarded. Big Brother Indonesia and Indonesian Idol are the examples of reality show. Talk show is a television program where one person (or group of people) discuss various topics put forth by a talk show host. Sometimes, talk show feature a panel of guest, usually consisting of a group of people who are learned or who have great experience in relation to whatever issue is being discussed on the show for that episode. Hitam Putih and Dorce Show are the examples of talk show.
