Should we have a volunteer military?

Military is an organization which made by the government in each country that has a main obligation to protect its country from the enemies which try to attack. Actually, military should be supported by the volunteer militaries. There are some reasons why military has to do it. Firstly, military doesn’t have enough time when the enemies attack its country. Becoming a soldier of military must pass some processes, and it is very difficult to be done. Therefore, military should have other options such as recruting the volunteer militaries. It occurs because recruting them doesn’t spend more time if the situation is emergency. Tatang Sutarman said,” As good people, we have to do anything for our country.” It means all of people who live in the country have a right to save their country, including the volunteers. The volunteers always be ready anytime to defend their country when the enemies suddenly attack. Secondly, having volunteer militaries can support the soldier in the war and help them to increase the power of their attack against the enemies. Although the volunteers don’t have enough knowledge about military, they still don’t care and consider defending the country is an act to save their life. For example, my grandfather is a former of volunteer military. He was a student of senior high school. One day, he realized the city where he lived was attacked by the colonizers. He decided to join the war. Even though he never learned about how to use the weapons or how to fight, he still wanted to protect the city so that it could be saved. The last, volunteer militaries are not only consisted of usual people or students, but also consisted of some doctors and nurses. They are important factor that can help the soldiers. In the war, there are many soldiers that should be cured. Each military which join to the war must prepare some volunteers who have knowledges in the medical so that they can reduce the amount of victims in the war. In conclusion, the presence of volunteer militaries is very important to support the military soldiers in order that they can protect their country where they live.
